Napavine Shed Shutters

Another venue has fallen victim to the bad economy with the April 23 closing of Napavine Amphitheatre in Chehalis, Wash., which opened in 2003.

Officials at the facility canceled the summer concert season because of a drop in attendance and “the current financial state of our region,” according to the venue’s Web site.

The shed has hosted artists including Dierks Bentley, Bret Michaels, Quiet Riot, Little Big Town, Merle Haggard, Warrant, Eric Burdon & The Animals, Randy Travis, and The Presidents of the United States of America.
