Broomfield Assessing Venue Bids

SMG, AEG Live, Venuworks and RG Sports and Entertainment have reportedly submitted bids to manage the city-owned Broomfield Event Center in Colorado following a January request for proposals.

The city council plans to evaluate the companies’ bids and enter into a management deal by June, Broomfield deputy city and county manager Charles Ozaki told the Daily Camera.

Current facility operator Broomfield Sports and Entertainment, which has managed the venue since it opened in Novemeber 2006, sought out of its contract earlier this year.
