Stay Away From Amy Winehouse
The injunction stipulates that photographers must refrain from snapping pictures outside her residence, as well as following the British singer/songwriter or approaching her within 100 meters of her home.
In case any paparazzi missed the memo, Winehouse posted the anti-harassment injunction outside her home. So very helpful of her!
She applied for the injunction last month after she moved from the north London neighborhood of Camden to the more low-key Hadley Wood area of Enfield.
Maybe she’s trying to turn over a new leaf by keeping her name and photos out of the tabloids and moving away from the drug culture scene of Camden.
I mean, all that rehab, crack pipe coverage and drama with soon-to-ex-husband Blake Fielder-Civil is far behind her, right? It has to have been forever since Winehouse was in the news for personal drama, right?
Well, she was forced to pull out of this year’s Coachella fest “due to current legal issues” and she appeared in court in March to plead not guilty for assault charges relating to an incident in fall 2008.
But that was wayyy back in March. Ages ago!
Oh wait, last weekend Winehouse was hospitalized for fainting while on vacation at her holiday home in the Caribbean.
It wasn’t drugs this time. She just needed some water.
“She fainted at home [in St Lucia] and they took her in for observation, mainly to do with her medication to check everything was OK,” Winehouse’s British-based publicist Chris Goodman said, according to the AFP. “They told her that she was dehydrated and needed to drink more water.”
Um, she couldn’t find any water in the freakin Caribbean?!
Oh, and apparently Winehouse was “running around” with a group of children before she passed out. Hanging out with lowlife hoodlums at the London party scene wasn’t working out for her. And apparently neither is chilling with kids at the most relaxing place on earth. She just needs to stay in her house, with a glass of water in her hand and the paparazzi at least 100 meters away from her.
Winehouse is set to perform this Friday at the St. Lucia Jazz Festival in Pigeon Island National Park in St. Lucia. After that she’s scheduled to do her thang at the Island 50 Festival at London’s O2 Shepherds Bush Empire, May 31.
