Billed as the “Bethel Woods Festival starring Heroes of Woodstock,” the event features the Levon Helm Band, Jefferson Starship, Big Brother and the Holding Company, Ten Years After, Canned Heat, Mountain featuring Leslie West and Corky Laing, Tom Constanten and Country Joe McDonald.

Helm appeared at the first Woodstock as a member of The Band.  For those of you not up on Grateful Dead history, Constanten played additional keyboards for The Dead from 1968 through 1970.

The Bethel Woods Center for the Arts is located on the same site as the dairy farm that played host to nearly 400,000 people in August 1969, and boasts an amphitheater and a museum that’s up the hill from the original stage location.
