Don Bernstine Dies
Don Bernstine, 53, an industry vet who spent many years with Deep Purple and as the memorabilia curator for Hard Rock International, died at his home in Oviedo, Fla., April 19.
Bernstine, as promotions manager, oversaw world tours and record launches for Deep Purple for more than a decade.
He spent the last six years as director of artist relations and memorabilia for Hard Rock, collecting musical artifacts for the franchise.
Bernstine’s career also includes stints with PolyGram Records, WYSP-FM in Philadelphia and LiBow Enterprises.
