Ciulla Named SJ GM

Nederlander Concerts has named John Ciulla general manager of the San Jose Civic Auditorium, the latest in a series of management hires for the California building that is exclusively co-promoted by the company with Team San Jose.

Ciulla was previously GM at Smirnoff Music Centre in Dallas, followed by the same position for Lucky Strike Lanes at L.A. Live in Los Angeles.

The Cleveland native has also had runs as a club owner, marketing director at the Blossom Music Center and artist manager/record label director of special projects for CMI Artist Management/Posthuman Records. “I have worked with John in the past at Universal Concerts and House of Blues,” Nederlander Concerts COO Alex Hodges said. “He is a leader with demonstrated success in the development and implementation of processes that improve efficiency and productivity.”

Nederlander announced last week the hires of talent director Max McAndrews and marketing director Jennifer Cooke.
