FBI Agent Gets Probation In Pellicano Case

An ex-F.B.I. agent convicted of using the bureau’s computers to dig up dirt on Hollywood execs involved in the Anthony Pellicano wiretapping case was sentenced May 14 to one year of probation and ordered to pay a $5,000 fine.

Mark Rossini wasn’t working on the wiretapping case and was not authorized to look up files admitted he illegally searched files on CAA co-founder Michael Ovitz, superlawyer Bert Fields and William Morris Agency President Jim Wiatt.

He also admitted he gave files to an unnamed woman thought to be actress Linda Fiorentino, who gave them to an attorney for Pellicano.
