Buddy Miller Leads Americana Noms
Buddy Miller has generated five Americana Music Association award nominations. The eighth annual Americana Honors & Awards show is expected to be held at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville Sept. 17 and hosted by Jim Lauderdale. Justin Townes Earle and Alejandro Escovedo have three nominations, and Kasey Chambers and Shane Nicholson two. Artist of the year nominees include Escovedo, Miller, Raul Malo and newcomer Townes Earle.
