According to The Press Democrat, the incident occurred at the Konocti Harbor Resort and Spa Amphitheatre on May 23.

“Bam! The left side of the roof collapsed six or seven feet,” concert attendee Mike Whitton told The Press Democrat. “They immediately began to evacuate everyone.”

The newspaper also quotes Konocti president and general manager Greg Bennett as saying the concert was postponed because of a “roofing issue,” but will be rescheduled.

But there’s nothing like an interruption in the momentum to ruin your entire day. Or, in this case, your entire weekend. The “Can’t Stop Rockin’” concert was supposed to be the second night of a three–day summer kickoff for the venue.

The next outdoor show for Konocti, which also has an indoor venue, is 3 Doors Down on the Fourth of July.
