Six Stabbed At Shoreline Concert
Six people were hospitalized with stab wounds after a series of fights during a Saturday night concert at the Shoreline Amphitheater, police said.
Mountain View police said the violence began shortly after the 5 p.m. start of KISS FM’s Old School Fiesta—featuring the bands War, Lakeside, El Chicano and others.
Venue security was quickly overwhelmed by the number of fights in the venue’s lawn section.
Police were called in to help break up the brawls, but violence flared again at 9:30 p.m.
Three stabbing victims were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said. Authorities also called in six other police agencies in as backup.
As the three victims were being driven to the hospital, police said a fourth victim flagged down the ambulance. A fifth and sixth stabbing victim walked into the hospital after the event, police said.
Officials said none of the injuries are life threatening. The show ended early and police said no arrests had been made., police said.
