Live Nation Southwest Chairman Danny Zelisko is celebrating his 35th year as a concert promoter today.

It was June 2, 1974, when Zelisko booked Mahavishnu Orchestra in Tucson, Ariz.

Zelisko’s Evening Star Productions eventually became one of the country’s top indie promotion companies before it was sold to SFX Entertainment.
