TM Settles Flash Seats Suit
Ticketmaster and the Cleveland Cavaliers resolved their lawsuit over the Cavaliers’ use of Flash Seats at Quicken Loans Arena May 22, according to a joint statement.
TM had sued the Cavaliers and Flash Seats, the team’s secondary ticketing site, claiming they’d violated a licensed user agreement with Ticketmaster.
The Cavaliers responded with an antitrust countersuit.
Ticketmaster has agreed to allow the Cavs to resume their use of Flash Seats for resale of tickets at the arena, but details of the settlement are confidential.
“Ticketmaster is very pleased that it could amicably resolve its dispute with the Cavaliers,” TM President Eric Korman said in a statement.
