Britney’s worldwide Circus tour returns to North America in August, starting with a show in Hamilton, Ont., at the Copps Coliseum on the 20th.

The next night finds the incredibly famous pop princess playing Ottawa at the Scotiabank Place and then it’s on to NYC for two gigs at MSG – Aug. 24-25.

Other stops include Boston at TD Banknorth Garden Aug. 29; Philadelphia at Wachovia Center Aug. 30 and Orlando at Amway Arena Sept. 1. Cities on the new tour leg also include Atlanta, Miami, Detroit, Tulsa, Des Moines, El Paso and Houston.

Brit also has one show scheduled (so far) for Los Angeles at the Staples Center on Sept. 23 and two concerts in Las Vegas at Mandalay Bay Events Center Sept. 26-27.

“I’m so excited to bring The Circus back to North America,” said Britney in a statement posted on her Web site. “I’ve made some really cool changes to the show that I think my fans are really going to love. I also get to bring the show to some new cities we missed the first time around.”
