Free Jonas Brothers Show Tonight
The first 700 fans lined up outside Fillmore New York At Irving Plaza as of 4 p.m. EST will be awarded with wristbands for the show. The venue opens at 8 p.m. tonight with the show expected to start at 9 p.m.
The guys will be showing off tunes from their fourth album, Lines, Vines and Trying Times, which is set for release June 15.
Tomorrow the Jonas Brothers play another free show, appearing at NYC’s Central Park. “Good Morning America” gave away tickets to the show last Thursday, the first time the show had ticketed one of its summer concerts. The tickets were snatched up by fans in nine minutes.
The free shows are a preview to “The Jonas Brothers World Tour 2009,” which features Kevin, Joe and Nick Jonas performing on stages across three continents. The tour is being presented by Burger King and produced by Live Nation.
The tour kicks off at Palacio de Deportes in Madrid, Spain June 13 with dates through a Nov. 24 show at The O2 in Dublin, Ireland.
Demi Lovato, recent Pollstar cover artist and star of the Disney Channel original movie “Camp Rock,” and the television series “Sonny With A Chance,” will open all Latin American shows.
The North American leg of the tour will feature American Idol winner and 19 Entertainment/Jive Records’ platinum-selling artist Jordin Sparks and rising stars Honor Society as special guests.
