Trailer Music Live In L.A.

After a successful performance in London, the “Trailer Music Live” concert event is coming to L.A. this month, allowing patrons to step inside the music of more than 2,500 theatrical trailers.

“‘Trailer Music Live’ is an epic concert event featuring a large orchestra, choir and rock band performing familiar movie music which has never before been heard in a live setting,” said Yoav Goren, Imperativa Records founder, as well as a composer and musician with both Immediate and Globus.

“This event will appeal to movie fans of all ages, as we bring our epic trailer music directly from the movie screen to the live stage.”

The fun goes down June 27 at the Broad Theater in Santa Monica, Calif. The event, which is being presented by Imperativa Records, is set to include music originally composed and produced for more than 2,500 theatrical trailers blockbusters such as “Lord of the Rings,” “Pirates of the Caribbean,” “Harry Potter” and “Spider-Man.”

“Trailer Music Live” will feature more than 100 performers including a blue paint-free Todd Waetzig, who’s been a drummer for the Blue Man Group for over a decade. Joining Waetzig are singers from The Angeles Chorale, recording artists Immediate and rock band Globus.

Tickets are available for $30, $40 and $50 and can be purchased at http://www.tix.com, by phone at 800-504-4849 and through the Broad Theatre box office at 310-434-3200.
