Lollapalooza’s Day-By-Day

The destination festival has released its daily schedule, and what a schedule it is with Depeche Mode, Ben Folds, The Decemberists, Andrew Bird, Thievery Corporation and The Gaslight Anthem. And that’s just the first day.

This year’s – scheduled for August 7-9 at Chicago’s Grant Park – has a daily breakdown of the artist schedule that’s almost as long as Lake Shore Drive. Here are a few highlights.

Friday – In addition to the bands and artists already mentioned for the festival’s first day, also expect Kings Of Leon, White Lies, Manchester Orchestra, Zap Mama, Bon Iver, Fleet Foxes and The Knux among the acts scheduled for day #1.

Saturday – Where do we start? How about Beastie Boys, Ben Harper, TV On The Radio and Arctic Monkeys? The second day’s schedule also includes Ida Maria, Santigold, Perry Farrell, Coheed and Cambria and Animal Collective.

Sunday – Lollapalooza’s last day includes performances by Lou Reed, Neko Case, Jane’s Addiction, Kaiser Chiefs, Vampire Weekend, Snoop Dogg, Sam Roberts Band, The Killers and Ra Ra Riot. Other bands acts scheduled for Sunday include Band of Horses, Cold War Kids, The Raveonettes and Dan Auerbach.

Lollapalooza has already sold all of its Early Bird 3-day passes and advance 3-day-passes. Regular 3-day passes are still available and are priced at $205. Single day passes are available for $80.  Lolla Lounge VIP passes are still available for $850 a pop.

There are also private luxury cabanas capable of holding 20 or more people, but you need to e-mail the festival for more details.
