Hit Hilton Sues, Tweets, Bleats

Perez Hilton recently filed a lawsuit against Black Eyed Peas tour manager Polo Molina for battery and intentional infliction of emotional distress for allegedly punching Hilton at a club in Toronto June 21.

Hilton seeks unspecified damages of more than $25,000.

In the lawsuit, Hilton states he is protecting his rights to free speech, saying Molina allegedly attacked him after the gossip king dissed the Black Eyed Peas’ new album. Molina was arrested early June 22, charged with assault and is due in court on Aug. 5.

It’s been a busy week for Mr. Hilton. In addition to the alleged assault incident, he also engaged in a Twitter bicker with John Mayer.

Mayer started the ruckus by tweeting, “I love that perezhilton uses his cellphone to log on to twitter to post a tweet to ask his followers to call the police for him.”

Mayer also tweeted that Perez’s video statement was “so long that by the end of it his cut healed,” causing Hilton to tweet back, “That’s real funny! Ha ha! And I’m sure you also think I ‘deserved’ to get hit!”

While Mayer and Hilton were exchanging Twitter salvos, actress Kirstie Alley got involved, probably because Hilton has trashed her in the past. That and, well, what else does she have to do?

Aiming a tweet at will.i.am, Alley told the Black Eyed Peas singer “whatever happened … you are my hero.” Kirstie also told Perez that in the future he must “only duke it out with lentils” and that he should “leave the Black Eyed Peas to the big boys.”

Mayer got in the last words. “You might have a gash on your face for a few more days, but the real healing? It’s happening right now,” he tweeted. “Good night Perez, you dumb shit.”
