New (Free!) Atmosphere EP + Dates

Atmosphere’s new EP, titled “Leak At Will,” hit the hip hop duo’s online store last week. But you don’t have to wait for a fan to leak the EP – the digital seven-song album is available for the low, low price of $0.00.

Slug (Sean Daley) – who handles the rhymes for Atmosphere with Ant (Anthony Davis) acting as DJ/producer – announced the release of the EP on the group’s MySpace page.

“Hello party people. As we approach the launch of our new digital online store Anthony and myself have put together another project that we are giving away for free to any of you who sign up for a user account on our online store FifthElementOnline.com.

“The project is a 7 song EP called Leak At Will, and it was a lot of fun to make. Nothing too serious, just smiles and cries. Consider it another ‘thank you’ for all of the support you have offered us over the years. To retrieve it, just follow these simple steps below. And again, thank you very much. Have a good summer. See you later player. S”

If you want to get your hands on Leak At Will, simply visit FifthElementOnline.com and register for a user account, add the EP to your shopping cart and then click “check out” to download the songs in a .zip file.

Atmosphere recently announced the final tour in support of the group’s sixth studio album, When Life Gives You Lemons, You Paint That Shit Gold. The tour also celebrates the reissue of Atmosphere’s sophomore album, 2002’s God Loves Ugly. The album was re-released earlier this year after being out of print for over a year.

After playing in Munich, Germany Friday, the U.S. tour kicks off July 23 with a performance at the 10,000 Lakes Festival in Detroit and winds down Aug. 30 with a slot at San Francisco’s Outside Lands fest.

Atmosphere will also perform at Lollapalooza in Chicago Aug. 8 as well as the Epicenter Festival in Pomona, Calif., Aug. 22. Additional tour stops include Mr. Small’s Theatre in Pittsburgh (July 26), Club Firestone in Orlando, Fla. (July 30) House of Blues in New Orleans (Aug. 2) and The Cotillion in Wichita, Kan. (Aug. 12).
