Featuring Season 5’s top 10 dancers Ade, Brandon, Evan, Janette, Jason, Jeanine, Kayla, Kupona, Melissa, and Randi, this year’s run will include the TV program’s most popular dance routines plus original pieces created exclusively for this year’s tour.

Of course, like dancing itself, the “So You Think You Can Dance” tour begins with that very first step. This year’s opening night is in Manchester, N.H., at the Verizon Wireless Arena on Sept. 20. Boston follows with a show at the Agganis Arena Sept. 22, and the show rolls into Newark at the Prudential Center Sept. 24.

Stops also include Mashantucket, Conn., at the MGM Theatre at Foxwoods Sept. 25; Trenton, N.J., at Sovereign Bank Arena Sept. 26; and Columbus, Ohio, Oct. 1 at Nationwide Arena.

Cities also on the schedule include Detroit, Chicago, Toledo, Baltimore, Miami, Houston, Tulsa, St. Louis, Los Angeles and Glendale, Ariz. The last date on the schedule is Nov. 14 in Las Vegas at the Orleans Arena.

The “So You Think You Can Dance” tour is produced by 19 Entertainment, Dick Clark Productions and AEG Live.

“For five years we have seen the popularity of ‘So You Think You Can Dance’ steadily grow and we are thrilled to showcase our unique talent for thousands of fans across the country,” said series founder and 19 Entertainment chief exec Simon Fuller. “With the show premiering again this fall, the tour creates the unique opportunity for fans to watch the high caliber dancing from their living room one night and then attend a live performance the following night.”
