Telluride Shed Comes With Hitches
A village near Telluride, Colo., may get a 5,000-capacity grass amphitheatre on the Misty Maiden ski run if the town council is satisfied with restrictions and parking mitigation.
The Telluride Ski and Golf Company wants to regrade the ski run and ensure a gondola to the site will run during summers to accommodate concertgoers.
The council, on the other hand, responded by slapping nine restrictions on the lawn’s use including limiting hours to no later than 10 p.m. on weekends and 8 p.m. on weeknights, with few exceptions, according to the Telluride Daily Planet.
The council also asked the recreation company to rebuild a bridge that concertgoers would walk over to access the area. It’s estimated that 5,000 fans would have to endure waits of an hour to board gondolas to the site.
