The tour begins Aug. 31 at Cape Cinema in Dennis, Mass., and wraps up Nov. 5 at Mr. Smalls Theatre in Pittsburgh.

Additional shows include The Mod Club Theatre in Toronto (Sept. 9), the Warehouse Live Studio in Houston (Sept. 26), House of Blues in San Diego (Oct. 3), Gothic Theatre in Denver (Oct. 19) and Headliner’s in Louisville, Ky. (Oct. 30).

Everybody is set for release Aug. 25 on Cabin 24 Records. The first single from the upcoming album, “Maybe,” is available on iTunes. You can also listen to the song in its entirety exclusively at AOL’s Spinner.com.

“I wrote ‘Maybe’ about 2 and a half months ago, right at the tail end of recording the album,” Michaelson told Spinner.com. “It was not originally slated to be part of the record. My producer threw it together in a matter of days, and it ended up being the first single!”

Michaelson has made a name for herself by touring with artists such as Dave Matthews and Jason Mraz and for landing her tunes on shows like “Grey’s Anatomy” and a major national television commercial for Old Navy. She was also the first unsigned musician ever selected as a VH1 “You Oughta Know” artist.
