Cleese’s trek focuses mainly on California, kicking off October 20 at Gallo Center for the Arts in Modesto and stopping in Arcata, Davis, Redwood City, Chico, Yountville, Carmel, Glendale, Thousand Oaks, Long Beach and San Diego.

Other lucky cities on the itinerary include Portland, Ore.; Seattle; Eugene, Ore.; and Scottsdale, Ariz.

While details are sparse as to exactly what Cleese will be doing at his shows, Live Nation posted this synopsis on their Web site:

“John Cleese will perform a comedy set in which he will be discussing his career in the zany and hilarious world of comedy, as well as his most pressing medical problems, his inability to find a suitable female companion, his mistrust of folk-dancing, and his latest plan for world peace.”

Sounds extremely interesting! (BTW, I’m with him on that “mistrust of folk-dancing” thing.)

Think there’ll be any silly walking?

Oh, and about that cheese. The cat’s eaten it.
