C-Murder Trial Date Set
A Louisiana judge refused to postpone the scheduled Aug. 3 trial date of rapper Corey “C-Murder” Miller, who is accused of killing a teenager at a New Orleans-area nightclub more than seven years ago.
Prosecutors requested the delay in order to investigate another man’s claim that he killed the victim.
Miller’s attorney has alleged Juan Flowers, already serving a life sentence in Georgia for another killing, was the actual shooter of Steve Thomas on Jan. 12, 2002.
Miller is charged with second-degree murder in the case and faces a mandatory life sentence if convicted.
