Buckcherry Postpones Germany Shows

Looks as if fans in Germany will have to wait a little longer to experience the Buckcherry performance of their dreams. The band has postponed gigs in Cologne and Berlin due to illness.

According to the band’s Web site, lead singer Josh Todd has been stricken by a severe respiratory tract infection and laryngitis. The band’s Cologne show was originally scheduled to take place last night, while Berlin was on the schedule for tonight.

A spokesman for the band’s management posted the following announcement on Buckcherry.com:

“After eight critically acclaimed shows in the U.K., culminating in a packed show at The Forum for the Kerrang! Awards and a performance at Sonisphere, it is unfortunate Buckcherry will be delayed in showing Germany what U.K. fans were able to witness the last two weeks.”

Todd also had his own announcement, writing:

“The band has really been looking forward to performing in Germany and I am saddened to be in this position. We look forward to returning soon and thank all of the German fans for their support of Buckcherry.”

Buckcherry’s next scheduled performance is this Friday in Sturgis, S.D., when the band rolls into town for the annual and plays the Legendary Buffalo Chip campground.
