Talkin’ ‘Bout A Revolution

Country singer/songwriter Miranda Lambert wants to make sure her fans in Nashville know exactly what to expect from her upcoming release Revolution.

So September 24, Lambert and her band will perform the entire album in sequence at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium.

Never one to leave ‘em wanting more, the singer will close out her set with a selection of hits from her debut, 2005’s Kerosene, and its follow up, 2007’s Crazy Ex-Girlfriend.

“I have been blessed with so many amazing things in my career,” explained Lambert. “Every day I get to do what I love most and along the way I’ve gotten to meet my heroes and been honored by my peers with awards I only dreamed about. I am so excited to share this new music with the folks in Nashville who have supported me since my debut.”

Tickets for “Revolution at the Ryman” go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, August 14 at the venue’s box office.

Revolution, due September 29, features a dozen songs Lambert co-wrote with a number of noted songwriters – including Blake Shelton, Ashley Monroe, Natalie Hemby and Lady Antebellum’s Dave Haywood and Charles Kelley – as well as tunes by John Prine, Julie Miller, Allen Shamblin and Tom Douglas.

A full headlining tour in support of the album is expected this fall and winter, after Lambert finishes her current trek with Kenny Chesney.
