Rubicon, which was released in June, is the follow up to 2006’s Dying to Say This to You and was written and recorded with help from producer Mark Saunders (Erasure, The Cure, Shiny Toy Guns), as well as former Smashing Pumpkin James Iha and Fountains of Wayne and Tinted Windows bassist Adam Schlesinger.
The album has drawn praise across the globe, with Spin lauding The Sounds for their “smart, perfectly calibrated indie electro” and Alternative Press singling our their “chic new-wave synths, glittering hooks and pop-savvy beats.”
