Simon Fuller and 19 Entertainment have made further inroads into the fashion industry by acquiring a 51 percent stake in Storm Model Management run by Sarah Doukas and her brother Simon Chambers.
Fuller’s 19 Entertainment, home to all things “American Idol,” “So You Think You Can Dance,” and a wholly owned subsidiary of Robert F.X. Sillerman’s CKX, has already formed a joint venture with Fashionair.com, Victoria Beckham’s dress collection, fragrance company Coty and designer Roland Mouret.
Although details of the agreement were not disclosed, Doukas and Chambers reportedly made millions out of the deal. Storm’s clients include Kate Moss, Lily Cole, Jourdan Dunn, Eva Herzigova, Carla Bruni and Cindy Crawford. It’ celebreity division includes Lily Allen and Paolo Nutini.
