The instrumental rock/electronic/jam band’s fall tour begins Oct. 6 at Liberty Hall in Lawrence, Kan., with dates through a Dec. 30 show at Wells Fargo Theatre in Denver.

Additional shows include First Avenue in Minneapolis (Oct. 8), Murat Egyptian Room in Indianapolis (Oct. 10), Town Ballroom in Buffalo, N.Y. (Oct. 17), House of Blues in Boston (Oct. 22) and Electric Factory in Philadelphia (Oct. 24).

Before the fall tour kicks off, STS9 will play two shows in Georgia (The Tabernacle in Atlanta, Aug. 21 and Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre At Encore Park in Alpharetta) followed by two shows in Japan. Sept. 4 the band plays the Bottom Line in Nagoya, Japan and the next day STS9 have a slot at the Metamorphose Festival in Tokyo.

Sept. 26 STS9 perform at Earthdance in Laytonville, Calif., followed by a slot at Austin City Limits Music Festival, Oct. 3.

The band has also signed on to play this year’s Jam Cruise, Jan. 3-8. The cruise begins in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., with stops in Ocho Rios, Jamaica and George Town, Cayman Islands.

In June STS9 released Peaceblaster: The New Orleans Make It Right Remixes. The album features 30 artists – such as Pretty Lights, The Glitch Mob, Count Bass D, Richard Devine, Eskmo,Alex B and Ronald Jenkees – remixing tunes from STS9’s 2008 album, Peaceblaster. Proceeds benefit the Make It Right Foundation, which is working to rebuild New Orleans’ Lower 9th Ward following the devastation of Hurricane Katrina.
