Another One Down For DM
Depeche Mode has been forced to call off another show because of frontman David Gahan’s ongoing vocal troubles.
Falling under the ax this time is tonight’s show at Cricket Wireless Amphitheatre in San Diego.
“We are incredibly disappointed to not be able to perform for our fans tonight in San Diego,” Gahan said in a message on DepecheMode.com. “We hope to be back soon to play for all our fans in the area.”
Although the singer – who is on complete vocal rest under doctor’s orders – is expected to recover in time for the band’s two night stand at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, DM’s tight touring schedule means the San Diego show will not be rescheduled this year.
Refunds will be issued at point of purchase.
