LN’s Scavenger Twitter
All it takes to win a free pass to every Live Nation show in town is some serious Web surfing and some luck.
Tomorrow is the first-ever Live Nation Twitter Scavenger Hunt, and like the title implies, the concert promotion company will tweet clues leading through a quest to join a drawing where the winner receives a season-long lawn pass good for every show at a local Live Nation amphitheatre next summer.
Interested parties will need to follow Live Nation’s national Twitter account as well as an accompanying local Live Nation office’s Twitter. Live Nation’s home page has details.
Both accounts will begin sending clues at 9 a.m. local time tomorrow (Aug. 19).
The Live Nation Twitter accounts will tweet clues describing locations on the Web where contestants can find a #LNScavHunt icon. Once that’s found, contestants have to take a screen grab of the icon and tweet the image to the local Live Nation account along with the message, “I’ve got it! #LNScavHunt.”
It takes three #LNScavHunt icons at three different Web locations to get a name in the drawing for the season-long lawn pass.
The first two clues will come from Live Nation’s national Twitter account, and the third will come from the local LN Twitter account.
Plus, everyone who completes the hunt will receive a “Friends and Family Ticket Offer” redeemable for a $10 lawn ticket for select LN concerts this summer.
The contest is free.
