Hip Hop Mag Prexy Killed Near Miami
Police investigations are under way in the recent death of the president of Miami operations for New York-based urban lifestyle magazine Don Diva.
Samuel “P-Man Sam” Ferguson was driving on a highway in Davie, Fla., Aug. 14 when someone in a black car fired shots into his vehicle and he crashed into a median, according to police.
Coroner reports showed Ferguson died of multiple gunshot wounds.
According to court documents obtained by the Miami Herald, Ferguson had been arrested several times for various offenses in the region. He’d also reportedly survived previous shootings.
Don Diva editor-in-chief Tiffany Chiles told the paper Ferguson had been heavily promoting the publication in the region and trying to distance himself from past transgressions.
“He was helping us gather relevant stories,” Chiles said. “He was doing interviews, distribution – he was really trying to market our magazine in Southern and Central Florida.
“He was trying to bring something new to his life, just to do something positive, something toward better and different things.”
