Lil’ Wayne Cancels Canada

A Lil’ Wayne concert at GM Place in Vancouver, British Columbia, Aug. 17 was canceled hours before the show “due to illness,” according to a statement.

While Canadian media speculated the hip-hop star’s tour bus may have ran into trouble at the border, organizers for the show, which was also set to feature Young Jeezy, Soulja Boy, Pleasure P and Jeremih, said Wayne had been advised by his doctors to rest.

A concert at Rexall Place in Edmonton, Alberta, the following evening was also canceled.
