The band will wrap its Hot Mess Across the U.S. tour Aug. 31 at Club Hell in Providence, R.I., and will take a short break before heading back out.

Beginning Oct. 17 at Eagles Ballroom in Milwaukee, Cobra Starship will hook up with Boys Like Girls, The Maine, A Rocket to the Moon and VersaEmerge for the OP Presents tour, which will spend six weeks winding its way through the U.S. and Canada before wrapping with a pair of shows Nov. 27-28 at Showcase Live in Foxboro, Mass.

Hot Mess, which was released Aug. 11, is Cobra Starship’s third and most successful album to date, earning praise from fans and critics alike.

While USA Today said, “It’s daft, it’s dorky, it’s discofied, but it’s also deliciously fun and kitschy” and “sheer summer escapism,” Rolling Stone described it as “packed with electro-sleeze tunes that go over the top in both their bright sound – sassy hook-singing girls and prevalent – and wink-wink mien.”

Lead single “Good Girls Go Bad,” which features “Gossip Girl” Star Leighton Meester, is also a smash success for the band, logging more than 48 million streams at Cobra Starship’s MySpace page and landing a pair of MTV Video Music Award nominations.
