Pink Tour Finally Winds Up

Pink’s three-month Australian tour winds up Aug. 29, after which she will return to the U.S. for dates starting in mid-September.

She played more shows in Melbourne alone (17) than on her entire U.S. trek.

At a cocktail party thrown in her honour, Sony Music acknowledged Pink shifted 4.8 million records downunder, while her album Funhouse went nine times platinum.

The tour sold 660,000 tickets over 58 shows, with a rumoured $70 million gross for Michael Coppel Presents.

A DVD shot in Sydney has an October release date.
