Urban announced he’d return Oct. 13 for We’re All For The Hall, a benefit concert for the County Music Hall of Fame and Museum.

Scheduled to join the singer are Faith Hill, Jason Aldean, Little Big Town, Lady Antebellum and several surprise guests.

Also aboard will be All For The Hall founder Vince Gill, who launched the campaign in 2005 to “address the museum’s need for long-term financial security and provide a safety net for the institution and its work.”

Earlier today at a press conference with Gill in Nashville, Urban said the cause was one close to his heart.

“Country music, for me, is the garden from which everything I do grows,” he explained. “It’s given me a life greater than my dreams, both musically and philosophically, and I’m as passionate about it today as I’ve ever been.

“But in order to understand where country music is headed, we should take the time to learn and respect more about where it’s been. This is what is so crucial about the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. In addition to preserving our rich tradition, it can also provide clues on where we just might be going in the future.”

Presale tickets are available through Sept. 1 to members of Hill’s online fan community using the code “Friends.”

General admission tickets, priced at $25, go on sale Sept. 2 at 10:30 a.m. A limited number of VIP and premium packages are also available.
