“Last Dance,” which the duo previewed in a demo version in June, is available for download at EntertainmentWeekly.com. Lucky fans at Lollapalooza in Chicago last month also got a preview of the new album when the group debuted several tracks from it live.

The band will hit North American shores just prior to the Oct. 6 release of the album for a pair Austin appearances: Oct. 2 at The Parish and Oct. 3 at the Austin City Limits Music Festival.

The Ravonettes will kick off a proper trek in support of the In and Out Oct. 14 at New York City’s Webster Hall and make their way to clubs and theatres in the U.S. and Canada through mid-November.

The Book-of-Love-meets-The-Beach-Boys flavored “Last Dance” is earning rave reviews from critics Stateside, with Spin calling the track “immaculate” and Spinner.com hailing it as “the most accessible song from [The Ravonettes] to date.”
