The Hellbilly Is Loose
Zombie’s first headline tour since 2007 is called “The Hellbilly Deluxe 2 Tour,” and heralds his forthcoming album, Hellbilly Deluxe 2 – Noble Jackals, Penny Dreadfuls and the Systematic Dehumanization of Cool, described as a companion to 1998’s Hellbilly Deluxe.
The hellraising kicks off Oct. 29 in Phoenix at the Dodge Theatre. From there Zombie heads to Las Vegas for a gig at The Pearl Oct. 30. Oct. 31 places him in LaLa Land for a show at the Hollywood Palladium and on Nov. 3 it’s San Jose at the Event Center.
Other stops include Magna, Utah (Salt Lake City), at the Great Saltair Nov. 5; Denver at The Fillmore Nov. 6; Tulsa at Brady Theater Nov. 8; Houston at Verizon Wireless Theater Nov. 11 and Akron at the Civic Theatre Nov. 17.
But the debauchery doesn’t stop there. Look for Zombie and his crew to also play Des Moines, Minneapolis, Chicago, Louisville, Detroit, NYC, Boston, Uncasville, Conn., and Philadelphia. Last date listed on the routing is Dec. 5 in Washington D.C., at the 9:30 Club. More dates are to be announced.
Joining Zombie will be Nekromantix and Captain Clegg & The Night Creatures.
Says Zombie:
“I am bouncing off the walls like a mental patient. That tells me it’s time to take it to the stage and let the demons loose.”
