“Fan Leaves Line, Gets Arrested” was a headline in Chicago’s Southtown Star. A man going to an Aug. 29 Lil’ Wayne concert at the First Midwest Bank Amphitheatre in the suburb of Tinley Park caught the attention of authorities because he was “acting suspiciously.”

Police eventually searched him and found 15 baggies of marijuana in his pockets, according to the Star.

The probable cause for the search? Apparently because Timothy Paige, 23, after noticing security personnel were searching patrons before entering the venue, turned around.

Police asked him why he didn’t want to be searched and Paige said he had to go back to his car to get his ID, according to the paper.

Maybe he should have said he needed his ticket.
