The Buck Stops Here

Having spent six years working in the U.S., Paul Buck has returned to the U.K. and joined London-based Coda Agency.

Prior to 2003 he worked at The Agency Group’s London office, but switched to the Los Angeles office because his then wife-to-be was American.

After three years he moved on to Portland-based Bigshot Touring Artists, but – during a summer visit to the U.K. – decided it was time to move back home.

“I’m starting again from scratch,” he told Pollstar, as all the acts on his roster were for North American representation.

It’s a situation Buck, who started his agency career at Asgard, has faced before. When he moved stateside, he had to give up his European representation for acts including My Morning Jacket, Doves, Turin Brakes, Junior Senior and Cerys Matthews.
