As with most civil suits, the main issue was money. Specifically $2.58 million, which is the amount Eight Mile Style claimed Apple earned from selling Eminem tracks. On top of all that moola, the publisher was also trying to hit Apple with damages equaling $150,000 per track for alleged copyright infringements.

The trial began last Friday, and an agreement was reached Thursday night. According to the Detroit Free Press, the settlement was reached with the “mutual satisfaction of both sides.” Details of the agreement were not disclosed.
