2010 Another ‘Fearless’ Year For Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift announced her tour dates for the first half of 2010 today. You better read this right now before Kanye West interrupts you.
BJCC Arena, Birmingham, Ala.

For Swift’s fans, which at last count number higher than many countries’ census figures, the new dates represent another chance to experience Swift’s “Fearless” tour, as well as an opportunity for newly minted followers to see their girl in action for the first time.

But before she plays that first 2010 U.S. date, Ms. Swift travels south of the equator to Australia for a round of gigs including Feb. 4 in Boondall (Brisbane) at the Entertainment Centre; Feb. 6 in Sydney at Acer Arena; Feb. 8 in Newcastle at the Entertainment Centre; Feb. 10 in Melbourne at the Rod Laver Arena and Feb. 12 in Hindmarsh (Adelaide) at the Entertainment Centre.

The new round of U.S. dates begin with March 4 in Tampa and run through June 2 in Washington, D.C. Although venues are not yet locked down, cities and dates are available, showing Taylor playing just about every U.S. metro area on the map, including Philadelphia, Dallas, Wichita, Lexington, Moline, Newark, Fresno, Houston, Uniondale and Des Moines. Canada towns Ottawa and Toronto are also on the new routing.

As she has before, “American Idol” finalist Kelly Pickler joins Swift on the 2010 U.S./Canada dates.

Tickets go on sale later this month and prices start at $25, making this tour an authentic offer you can’t refuse. For more information, please click here and here for Taylor Swift’s Web site and MySpace page.
