Swift, who was asked by SNL producers to host the show earlier this summer, called the chance “mind-blowing” and admitted she’d had trouble keeping it a secret this long. She joins a short list of performers like Justin Timberlake, Sting and Janet Jackson who’ve filled both guest spots on the venerable program.

And will the 19-year-old singer take the opportunity to take some pot-shots at West during her Nov. 7 appearance? Probably.

“I’ve been thinking about skit ideas for a long time,” she said. “There are definitely some hilarious things that have happened to me over the past couple of months that I think will be pretty substantial skits.”

Swift is also looking forward to working with SNL’s Andy Samberg on one of his infamous digital shorts and has been doing some research.

“Of course I’ve been a fan for a long time, but I’ve gone back and re-watched everything over the past couple of months and digital shorts would be so much fun to do, because they’ve been done so well. Andy Samberg is hilarious.”
