Coburn Joins Live Nation
Ian Coburn has left leading comedy promotions firm Phil McIntyre Entertainment and moved to Live Nation.
An Oct. 28 statement announced he will be promoting comedy shows and helping LN expand its U.K. comedy roster.
Coburn has more than 20 years of experience in the entertainment industry and has promoted a vast array of acts including successful tours with Little Britain and Peter Kay’s 180-date, sold-out ‘Mum Wants a Bungalow Tour.’
He also took Russell Brand from the Soho Theatre in 2005 to headlining his own U.S. tour three years later.
Coburn has brought American artists such as Cedric The Entertainer and Chris Rock to the U.K. He also has Louis CK booked in for four nights at the Bloomsbury Theatre in November.
Coburn said he’s already worked with Live Nation in the U.S. during last year’s Russell Brand tour and is looking forward to the opportunity of doing so again.
Coburn will be based at LN’s London office.
