Fuse Lit For Mayer

John Mayer plays New York City’s Beacon Theatre tonight, but you don’t need to rush off to the Big Apple to experience the show. Fuse is broadcasting the concert start-to-finish.

Tonight’s performance celebrates the release of Mayer’s fourth studio album – Battle Studies – landing in stores today.

Mayer has been describing Battle Studies as his most lyrically complex, yet straightforward album yet, and that after several years as an artist and a producer, he has more confidence and experience when entering a recording studio.

“I don’t see it as a series of winning bets,” Mayer told Associated Press. “I see it as something I do for a living.”

And fans can see their hero work for it tonight. In addition to the two hour live broadcast, viewers can also participate via “Who Says: Tweets on TV” and send their messages to #mayeronfuse which will throw some of the tweets up on the screen.

“Fuse Presents: John Mayer Live from the Beacon Theatre” airs at 9 p.m. Eastern tonight, and encore showings are slotted for Nov. 21 (9 p.m. and 1 a.m.) and Nov. 22 (3 p.m. and 7 p.m.).

But there’s more Mayer where that comes from. Fuse.tv will feature plenty of Mayerabilia, including behind-the-scenes footage shot backstage, during the sound check and after the show.

But the main event is on your TV tonight. John Mayer, live at the Beacon, beaming into your home via Fuse with no service charges, parking charges, convenience fees, or, for that matter, even a ticket. Such a deal!
