Along with concerts and vids, the EMI / Hulu alliance means plenty of exclusive content. Launching today with the spotlight on Norah Jones, Hulu premiered an artist page containing her entire video catalog as well as several performance clips.

As an example of how well Hulu does music, today’s launch also features Jones’s entire performance at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium, which includes guest appearances by Dolly Parton and Gillian Welch.

EMI says more full-length videos of Jones in concert will made available soon. Meanwhile, you might want to check out her interview on the Hulu blog.

The EMI / Hulu alliance includes artists on the group’s Virgin, Capitol and Blue Note imprints and represents another avenue for music promotion. People already flock to Hulu for the site’s catalog of old and new TV shows and movies, and adding exclusive music content is more cheese for the better mousetrap.

“We think Hulu is an excellent, high-quality environment and a great place to connect with fans,” said Ronn Weree, president of EMI music services and COO of EMI Music North America. “We’re delighted to add Hulu to the growing number of platforms EMI is working with to give fans more of what they’re looking for.”
