Manilow’s current Vegas run shows him wrapping up 2009 at the Las Vegas Hilton Dec. 30. After a three-month break, the singer launches his two-year run at the intimate 1,500 seat Paris Theatre March 5.

Along with the new venue comes a new show. Manilow’s Paris Theatre gigs will be directed by stage / film choreographer and director Jeffrey Hornaday (“Flashdance,” “A Chorus Line,” “High School Musical”) and will celebrate the artist’s 35 years of pop hits.

“The audience in Vegas is always energized and electric, so I know that the Paris Las Vegas is going to be a special run,” Manilow said. “I’m planning something new for this performance; definitely not to be missed.”

Las Vegas middle and high school music programs also benefit from Manilow’s Paris residency. Proceeds from weekly Platinum Experience Tickets, which include front row seats, champagne receptions, meet-and-greets, a photo with you-know-who and an autographed program, will go directly to The Manilow Music Project (part of the nonprofit The Manilow Fund for Health and Hope) and will help provide instruments for students in the Las Vegas Unified School District.
