Brooks & Dunn Announce ‘The Last Rodeo’

Calling it one more chance to party with their fans, Brooks & Dunn are going out in style by playing 47 shows in 2010.

Next year marks the 20th anniversary of the day an Arista Records exec introduced Leon Eric “Kix” Brooks and Ronnie Dunn to each other. One year later the duo’s first album – Brand New Man – produced four No. 1 singles including the title track as well as “My Next Broken Heart,” “Neon Moon” and “Boot Scootin’ Boogie.” The rest, as they say, is now a large chunk of country music history.

So far, only dates and cities for “The Last Rodeo” tour have been released. Here’s what’s on the agenda:

The tour begins April 23 in Sacramento. Other West Coast stops include the San Francisco Bay Area (Mountain View April 24), Spokane (April 30), Tacoma (May 1) and Vancouver (May 2). Brooks & Dunn are also playing the Stagecoach music festival in Indio, Calif., April 25.
