The tour kicks off March 13 at the Fillmore Miami Beach At Jackie Gleason Theatre in Miami and wraps up March 28 at Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles.

Additional dates include Center Stage in Atlanta (March 15), Electric Factory in Philadelphia (March 18), Phoenix Concert Theatre in Toronto (March 23), Riviera Theatre in Chicago (March 24) and 4th And B in San Diego (March 27).

The French electronic pop duo last performed in the U.S. as part of the 2007 edition of Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival.

Air plans to show off fan favorites as well as re-interpretations of new songs from Air’s sixth studio album, Love 2, which was released this past September.

The tour will feature Air’s Nicolas Godin and Jean-Benoît Dunckel joined by British drummer/percussionist Alex Thomas, who has worked with Bat For Lashes and Badly Drawn Boy. AM, a multi-instrumentalist folk rock singer-songwriter from Los Angeles, will open for Air.

The trek is the first of several U.S. trips planned for 2010.

Tickets for most dates go on sale Saturday, Dec. 12. Fans registered for Air’s newsletter will have access to a presale Dec. 10 at 10 a.m. for shows in Orlando, Fla. (March 14), Philadelphia, New York (March 19), Oakland, Calif. (March 26), San Diego and Los Angeles.

Air is currently touring Europe, playing the Dream Factory in Riga, Latvia, tonight and then closing out the year with shows in Lithuania, Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovenia. In January the duo heads for France followed by shows through the end of February in Portugal, Spain, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Serbia, Romania, Ireland and U.K.
