Presented by Elvis Presley Enterprises and On Stage Touring, the 26-city tour is described as a multi-media extravaganza that features a live band, back-up singers and dancers. There’s even an Ann-Margret tribute artist for those “Viva Las Vegas” moments.

And where did they get all those Elvis tribute artists? Each and every faux King was selected as a finalist at worldwide preliminaries for the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist competition held by Elvis Presley Enterprises.

The tribute artists will depict Elvis in one of four eras – 1950s, 1960s, his movie career and concert years.

“It’s been exciting to see The Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest spotlight some of the most talented Elvis tribute artists in the world,” said Scott Williams, VP of marketing for Elvis Presley Enterprises. “This tour will give even more Elvis fans around the nation an opportunity to see these talented entertainers.”

The tour begins in Ames, Iowa, at Stephens Auditorium Jan. 15. Other stops include Omaha (Jan. 19), Topeka (Jan. 20), Shreveport (Jan. 22), Daytona Beach (Jan. 26) and Jacksonville (Jan. 29). The last date on the schedule is Jan. 31 in St. Petersburg, Fla., with more dates to be announced. For more information, click here for the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artists Tour Web site.
