Phelps, known for his anti-gay protests, including bringing his followers to funerals so they can torment families with shouts that their dearly departed are condemned to hell, issued a statement declaring “God Hates Gaga” – a slight departure from his usual rant of “God Hates Fags.”

In his statement, Phelps infers that Gaga is a “slut” attempting to corrupt the youth of America, according to St. Louis radio station KMOX.

“Even as she gives lip service to ‘liberating’ her young fans, Lady Gaga brings them into slavery to their own corruption,” read the statement mixing Biblical quotes with Phelps’ own brand of hatred, concluding with “You’re going to hell” printed in big bold letters.

In other postings on his Web site, Phelps refers to President Obama as “The Beast,” “Muslim” and “Antichrist.” He also states the recently deceased Roy Disney, is burning in hell because he divorced, remarried and was the nephew of founder Walt Disney, who the self-appointed voice of God describes as a “Jew” and “minority hater.” Clearly the minister isn’t the most fun guy to hang with.
